 The 16th of April 2010, posed to be an epoch for the students and faculty of Global Institutes as they gave life to "Tech Jugglers-The techno-managerial annual fest" ofthe college. The day showcased . echnical excellence in the form of events such as Coding, Macnovation, Fault Finding, Debugging, Extempore and Paper Presentation and also iive-up to its motto of "WHERE MIND EXCEEDS MIGHT".
A major highlight of this tech fest was the projects. Other events, which enticed the imagination of many terhno maniacs were Computer Games. In the discipline of Management, events such as Extempore, Group Discussion, Ad¬mad Show, Picto, 20 Questions, Game & Face Painting brougl'i1t torth the upcoming entrepreneurs of this country. To test the ability of the students, a techno-quiz was held within the college audltorium. |
Immediately after the start of the academic year, freshers start dreaming about Freshers Day, which is celebrated compulsorily in every college and it was no different in Global Institute of Management where all the new and young students of MBA and MCA introduced themselves to their faculty and classmates. It was the day for freshers to get along with their seniors and teachers. The students got an opportunity to mingle among each other. 
Basant means Spring, whereas Panchami means the fifth day of the spring. It falls on Panchami - on the Waxing Moon. The Basant Fest was celebrated with full vivacity and festivity to mark the end of the winters. The aesthetically decorated vibrant campus of Global Institutes reverberated with exuberance on the eve of Basant Cultural Festival. Heart -warming folk songs, rib-tickling mimicry, mesmerizing Bhangra and Giddha, exploding Rap, power-packed ‘Tug-of war’, thrilling ‘Matka-fod’ and colourful ‘kite flying’ competitions were the highlights of the day. 
The students participated in the shooting of movie named 'Akhiyaan Udeekdiyan' in the viinity of Global Campus. The students interacted with the director, Producer and Actors of the film and were informed about the various intricacies involved in the film making. 
Students of Global Institutes brought laurels and glory for their almamater by winning the overall trophy second time in a row at the Inter-state ISTE Tech-fest, Minerva-2011 held at ropar on 5th -6th November, 2011. A large number of teams from Engineering Colleges of Haryana, jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh & Punjab came to participate in the Tech. Fest. Global student have won the coveted Over-All Trophy in Technical Events.
Students of Global Institutes, have brought laurels of theri almamater at the Northern Region Inter-state ISTE Tech-fest, Minerva-2010 held at ropar on 13-14 November, 2010. A total of around 48 colleges participated in the event. Global student have won the coveted Over-All Trophy in Technical Events. Nearly 50 students from four states participated in various cultural and technical events. In 2009 also, our students won a large number of awards in this festivals. 
Global Institutes organized 'Talent Hunt Competition'. It was a commendable effort on the part of the college to 'Search for the Rising Stars'. The young budding students were provided with a platform to showcase their talents and face the competitive world.
